It was a great day. The rain finally held off for it had been raining here all week and that was the first good thing to come that day. It was long day and hot in the basement of the county center where the grads waited, lined up and waited more. No windows and no air conditioning just a lot of grads standing and talking. The excitement was truly building, they were yelling, dancing, chanting and doing flips. I picked the wrong day to where heals but I wanted to look good and fashionable, LOL. I didn't think I would be standing for 2-3 hours though. The ceremony was great everyone going across the stage and then my row lines up, it was a little nerve wracking more than 4, 000 people looking on and 2 giant screens to view it all close up. My biggest fear was falling maybe even tripping across the stage and the whole world seeing it. I made it safe, grabbed my diploma (holder) and proceed down for more pictures. Seeing all my friends that I had meet over the years finally graduate was great. Then we left for our celebration dinner at P.F. Chang's what a great place, great food and great people too. It was my first time eating there and I would definitely go back.
Thanks to my family who were so supportive during all my nights of class and days of homework...
