A Special Sneak Peak on Disney's Fantasy Cruise Line

Since, taking our first cruise a few years ago on the Disney Magic we have become members of the Castaway Club. If you have cruised with Disney you know that this club is exclusive to those who have sailed with the Mouse. The Club has great benefits and no one cruises like Disney. From the moment we walked across the gang plank to the end of the cruise, where all your luggage has to be left outside your room the night before docking, it was a magical experience. By the way, the scariest thought ever was leaving all your possessions in the hallway alone.  But, on the other hand, the fact that we were going to be at the dock by I think it was 6 a.m. was more frightening. It was without a doubt one of the best vacations I have ever taken.

There were  a few very memorable things on the boat. The food was amazing and the dining rooms had many different themes from character paintings on the wall ~~
The Animator's Palate (where you watch the movie cells on the walls go from black and white to color) to very elegant dining. Meeting the characters in their cruise outfits was very cool too and swimming in the adult only pool for a few hours, while my daughter enjoyed her time without Mom and Dad made this Disney Cruise Number 1 for R & R.

There's also an incredible new cabana area floating with relaxation—including large protective shade canopies.

Deck 13—Game on!
You'll discover all sorts of sports on Deck 13. Including an enlarged sports court, golf/sports simulators, terrific 9-hole mini golf course and a great new watery oasis, Deck 13 forward—reserved just for adults—called Satellite Falls, a refreshing spot to relax at while catching some rays on the Satellite Sun Deck.

New stern characters
He's packed his trunk and he'll be hanging out at the back of the ship. That's right, Dumbo the Flying Elephant and his tiny pal, Timothy Q. Mouse, will be the "stern characters"—ready to lead the new Disney Fantasy out to sea on all of its voyages.
Disney Fantasy will be sailing out of Port Canaveral, Fla., on popular 7-night Caribbean itineraries–alternating Eastern and Western–including a stop at our private island paradise, Castaway Cay.
