As it got closer to the day she was to arrive, I found out it was due February 28th, I wanted to go down to Pier 88 where it was docked right near the Intrepid Museum and see how big it was. My dream was they would let me board it and see the whole ship, take pictures and blog about it of course. But, since I am a busy mom of 2, I sent Dad to go check it out instead and see how close he could get. He was of course ready to take the challenge and the day after the Fantasy arrived he was there with his camera. He got some really awesome pictures that I want to share..

The magnificent 3-deck atrium lobby on the Disney Fantasy is reminiscent of grand ocean liners of the Golden Age. Art Nouveau-inspired details and patterns in hues of vibrant blue, green, pink and gold lend to the sophistication.
