From educational experiences to sumptuous tastings to specialty shopping, Guests enjoy a variety of culinary experiences at little to no extra cost—only available during Epcot International Food & Wine Festival, September 28 through November 12, 2012.
These events, seminars and demonstrations can be found at the Festival Center at Epcot Theme Park, unless otherwise indicated.

New Experiences Included with Admission for 2012

Chocolate Experience: From the Bean to the Bar Hosted by Ghirardelli® Chocolate Company – NEW: Immerse yourself in the seductive sights, scents and flavors of chocolate at this new experience! Marvel at sweet sculptures created by Disney pastry chefs and learn about the food's fascinating origins. Sample a few sweet treats and shop for gourmet chocolate gifts. Be sure to try Drinking Chocolate (it's like a liquid candy bar!) or a glass of wine. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. through park close.
The Watermelon Patch Hosted by The National Watermelon Promotion Board – NEW: Visit a real watermelon patch! See watermelons growing and discover fun facts and tips from Mr. Food.
Sampling at the Festival Center Wine Shop – NEW: Visit the Festival Center Wine Shop for daily wine samples provided by our participating beverages companies. Open daily at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Book Signings and Meet & Greets: Meet celebrated authors and personalities, and have them autograph your purchased book or merchandise. Check the daily schedules or visit the Festival Information Desk for details.

Authentic Taste Seminars Hosted by Driscoll's® Only The Finest Berries™: Learn about the origins, properties and history of pure ingredients in lively, 30-minute presentations by subject experts. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays at 12:15 p.m., 2:00 p.m., 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Seasons of the Vine: View a "behind-the-scenes introduction" to wine growing. This 7-minute film runs continuously each day.
"Discover the Cranberry" Hosted by Ocean Spray® Craisins® Brand Dried Cranberries: Before entering World Showcase, visit the Cranberry Bog Display. Learn about the history, harvesting process and health benefits as you sample this unique fruit.
Home Entertaining Seminars Hosted by HGTV: In these 30-minute seminars, learn from HGTV and DIY celebrity designers, who will be featuring tips on holiday table setting, herb and vegetable gardening, and kitchen or dining room changes. Friday through Sunday at 12:00 noon, with meet-&-greets at 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.

The Art of Food & Wine: A feast for your eyes, featuring prints and original artwork.
Intermissions Café Hosted by Kobrand™: A special way to start your day or "wine" down in the evening, featuring wine, cheese, sandwiches and salad. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. through park close.
The Festival Center Wine Shop: The wine shop offers hundreds of wines from the celebrated wineries showcased throughout the Festival, as well as spirits, beers and a unique collection of bottles. Open daily from 9:00 a.m. through park close.
The Stockpot Shop: Shop for commemorative items, such as the event poster, Festival cookbook and a varied selection of cooking and entertaining products.



One of my Favorite Recipes from the Festival

Jerk-Spiced Chicken Drumettes With Mango Chutney

Jerk-Spiced Chicken Drumettes Ingredients:
20 chicken drumettes
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons garlic powder
2 1/2 teaspoons dried thyme
2 teaspoons ground allspice
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
Mango Chutney Ingredients:
1 1/4 cups diced mangos (about 2 small mangos)
1/2 tablespoon peeled and minced fresh ginger
2 small hot chile peppers, membrane and seeds removed, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/8 teaspoon coarse salt
1/4 cup white distilled vinegar
2 tablespoons firmly packed light brown sugar
2 tablespoons granulated sugar
1/8 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 onion, diced (about 1/2 medium onion)
1/2 red bell pepper, membrane and seeds removed, diced
For Jerk-Spiced Chicken Drumettes:
1. Rub drumettes with vegetable oil. Place in gallon zip lock bag; set aside.
2. Mix garlic powder, thyme, allspice, black pepper, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt in small bowl. Add to bag with drumettes; seal and massage to cover drumettes in jerk spice. Marinate in refrigerator for 24 hours.
3. Preheat oven to 350ÚF. Line 15 x 10-inch baking sheet with foil.
4. Place marinated drumettes on baking sheet and bake for 35 to 40 minutes or until fully cooked.
For Mango Chutney:
1. Stir together all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat; bring to a boil.
2. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, about 25 minutes or until mixture thickens. Cool and serve with jerk-spiced drumettes. Leftover chutney can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
