Budgeting & Splurging on Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at Walt Disney World

Welcome to those of you joining me from Disney In Our Blood and those of you just hopping aboard, I am the Final stop on our Magical Blogorail Peach.

This month's Topic is Best places for budgeting & splurging on Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner at Walt Disney World, so when I think of saving money I always aim for breakfast and lunch. These are 2 meals that I think you can eat quickly and get right back to the fun. So whether your at your resort or in the park or maybe at Downtown Disney definitely stick to Quick Serve Meals. They will save you time and money. This is one thing I have learned going to WDW so many times, my kids have different levels of hungry and they are both past what Disney considers kid's age (9) on the menu but, they are still kids.

Their  appetites can be small and the adult meals are to big. So ordering off the kids menu saves us some money and I'm not worrying about wasting food either. The other thing I like about Quick Serve is I don't have to tip and even for a family of 4 we spend about $50 every time on quick meals.

But, we love the character dining experiences, which can be a big splurge. The one's we do make such great memories like at Chef Mickey's or the Princess Breakfast in Norway. Some of our other favorites we love for dinner are Be Our Guest, Whispering Canyon Cafe or any restaurant in Epcot where dinner for us on average $130 at the sit down and that's before the tip.

Here is the map of our Magical Blogorail should you happen to have to make a stop along the way and want to reboard:

Good call out on Quick Service meals and not having to tip! Definite money saving area right there!

  3. We've been known to share QS meals too. They don't skimp you on food and most of the meals are PLENTY for two.

  7. We loved BOG, definitely worth the splurge. We tend quick service or snack for lunch. Saves some money.

  8. All those dessert pictures are making me hungry. Maybe a good budget tip is skip the meal at the table service restaurants and head straight for dessert!

  9. Really enjoy Be our guest! Loving all the desserts in your first picture. We do the kids meals or share adult meals many times as it is a lot of food.
