Nintendo and Disney's Magical World Game - My Review

I have been playing this amazing game for a few weeks now and I love it! Being a huge Disney Fan and a Gamer, made it easy for me to get addicted to Disney Magical World. One thing, I really like is that all the main Disney characters are in it: Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Pluto, Goofy, Chip, Dale and yes even Pete. The town in the game is called Castleton, a very cute place to visit. Another thing, I really liked was when I created my own character, I made it look like me and got to used my own name, so when I interact with the other characters they greet me with my name, it's a really neat feature.

I also loved dressing up in some of my favorite Disney character clothes. Right now, I'm dressed with a Minnie polka dot dress and a Mickey ears hairband. So cool. It is also so awesome to be fishing with Donald Duck in a Hidden Mickey shaped pond. I love making the clothes and other apparel in Daisy's clothing shop too. With Chip and Dale, I got to build furniture. It's a very easy game to play, it gives you prompts about what to do and you collect stickers to get into higher levels of the game. There's many reasons I love playing especially, hearing the characters talk that is really neat.

Here are some details about the game --

In this all new adventure lifestyle RPG from Nintendo gamers get too interact with more than 60 Disney characters. You can also visit Disney themed worlds and customize your character with hundreds of outfits. But, not just any outfits - Disney themed clothes and accessories. Another fun thing is you get to plant crops in the 100 Acre Wood. Rare Disney character cards are also out there to collect as another way to have some magical fun. Your favorite Disney characters also join in the fun to find missing items and solve problems. The game is great for Disney fans young and young at heart. In the pictures below you get a taste of what the game looks like and how much fun it is.

You can also connect with other Players:
Tag other players through Streetpass and their avatars will appear in your Castleton area.

Share Your Creativity:
Use local multi-player mode to visit another player's Cafe and My Room to show off your creativity and customization.

Thanks for stopping by and if you have any questions about the game I would be happy to answer them. More posts to come as I complete more of the game. =)

Disclosure - I was given a copy of the Magical World game and a Nintendo 3DS to try and give my opinion on from Nintendo. In no way did that influence my opinion at all. All opinions and facts are true and honest. I want to thank Nintendo of America for their generosity, I am very appreciative. I saw the Nintendo store in NYC putting up the Disney Magical World display a while back, but I never knew what it was all about... until now! That looks like something I would love to play. Unfortunately, I don't have a 3DS. Too bad they don't make this for the Wii.

Sounds awesome! I'm the world's worst gamer, but my son might enjoy it. Do you think it would be appropriate for a 4-year old?

  3. My son would love this! He's asked for a DS but I was hesitant to get one and opted for the Kindle. Now with this game, I may reconsider for Christmas 2014! So cute!

That is SUPER cute. I love that you can dress your avatar in the Disney inspired clothes. I think I might get this one for my kids.

  9. Your kids must love you Diane- it's not even Christmas!! The fact that there are over 60 Disney characters, and hundreds of Disney outfits sounds as though there are many, many hours of unique play time. Unlike some games, Disney Magical World will not get old in a hurry!
