D23 Mixer at The House Of Blues

Me and Jeffrey Epstein
This Month was the best party in Downtown Disney, the D23 mixer was back and held at the House Of Blues. It was so much fun to see my fellow D23 members, have a bite to eat at HOB and get a cool gift. I love the gifts we received last year and this year was no different. All D23 members got Anna and Elsa pin from the Annual Shareholders Meeting this year. That's how special these mixers are! We get some real great gifts for attending. The D23 team really appreciates it's members and to show it gives us some truly unique things you can't get anywhere.

Imagineer - Pam Rawlins
Also one of our favorite people was there hosting the mixer from California, Marketing Manager, Jeffrey Epstein who also gave us the low down on upcoming D23 events. He was eager to share information on the upcoming Destination D - Attraction Rewind and Fanniversary events. The Fanniversary would be celebrating many anniversaries of Disney movies, theme parks, characters, TV series and the New York World's Fair. It is sure to be a very exciting 90 minutes for all Disney Fans.

Destination D - will feature presentations (Nods to favorites of the past in current Disney Parks attractions) and exhibits (NY World's Fair) and appearances by some of the Disney Legends,  One of the most exciting things - the return for one night of Pleasure Island. To celebrate the nightlife from years ago at Downtown Disney we get to see the Adventurers Club, Comedy Warehouse, Mannequins, and 8 Trax.

And most special of all - something never before a - Mickey’s of Glendale Pop-Up Shop, the famed Walt Disney Imagineering store will be there for us to shop till we drop.

With the great food at House of Blues there were some specialty drinks for us D23 members and we also received a 15% discount on our food. We then got to mingle with the special guests invited to the mixer. There were 3 Disney Imagineers that came around to each table to chat and answer questions. They had worked on the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train and other parts of New Fantasyland at the Magic Kingdom. It was great to talk to them and find out how they enjoyed working on this project.

Hope you enjoyed this recap of the D23 mixer, Thanks for stopping by.
