Quick Read #Review of "Guardians Of The Galaxy"

With lots of Humor, Heart and Action, "Guardians Of The Galaxy" is the one movie not to be missed this Summer. This is not like any other Marvel Movie you have seen. And I can't wait to see it again.

Run, don't walk to see "Guardians Of The Galaxy", now playing. I had the privilege of seeing it last week at a preview and boy was I surprised. I mean I knew it would be good but, not this good. The quick run down without giving anything away is - the star of the movie Chris Pratt (Peter Quill) aka Star-Lord has something very traumatic happen to him at the beginning of the movie when he was 9 years old, he then gets kidnapped to outer space. The whole movie then takes place out there, (lol) and he then becomes a thief. While acquiring a mysterious orb for a price he gets thrust into saving the galaxy with 4 other criminals.

Together they ensue on this quest to save the galaxy together and realize they have to work together to do it, even though they are so different. I thought the action and story were amazing, it kept me on the edge of my seat.  I'm so glad they have already announced a sequel, they definitely left hints of more to come.

The Cast Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” which first appeared in comic books in Marvel Super-Heroes, Issue #18 (Jan. 1969), stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, featuring Vin Diesel as Groot, Bradley Cooper as Rocket, Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Karen Gillan, Djimon Hounsou, with John C. Reilly, Glenn Close as Nova Prime and Benicio Del Toro as The Collector.

This movie although rated PG-13, might also be enjoyable for younger kids. It has nothing too scary and never a dull moment. But some language maybe to strong for little ones.

My kids loved it and could not stop talking about the characters.

The Guardians all have in depth back stories which makes you like and care about them.

Thanks for stopping =)
