#TGIF Must Try Review - Pinnacle Vodka Taste Test - Pecan Pie and Peachberry Cobbler

Disclaimer: I was given 2 bottles of Pinnacle Vodka to try and review. In no way did this influence my opinion or this review at any time.

Even though I'm not the biggest Vodka drinker, I do like the ones that you can mix to make fruity fun drinks. The flavored vodkas are great this time of year with their Fall flavors and can enhance your dining experiences. IE - Spiked Apple Cider. It was great to have tried these flavors and experiment with them.  Please drink responsibly.

Minnie Tips Monday ~ A Great Hideaway in Epcot at Mexican Pavilion

Minnie Tips Monday

Welcome to another Minnie (mini) Tips Monday
where the Minnie means Mini but the tips last all day!

I recently found this little hole in the wall (so to speak), this is a term not often associated with Disney I know but, it really is little.
It's a To-Go Bar, something I have never heard of before, take your drink and GO. It's located inside the Mexican Pavilion.

Once inside it's down the ramp on the right side.

It has the best Margaritas in Epcot, and yes a little pricey but well filled with Tequila. Trust Me, they give you several shots and I had to share it.
But, even if you don't drink go inside and check it out, the interior is beautiful. The architecture and bottles are worth checking out.

 Thanks for Stopping By!

And Don't Forget to grab the Minnie Tips Monday Button in the side bar.

So excited for Chris Pratt to be hosting SNL. There couldn't be a better way to Kick off Season 40 with the star of summer's biggest movie, Guardians of the Galaxy. I'm hoping there might be some GOTG skits in the show, that would be awesome. This will be his first time hosting SNL. I wonder if he's amazed at all the success from this movie?

Helpful Tips on the Walt Disney World Dining Plan

In case you haven’t dined on the plan before, the Disney Dining Plan is honored at more than 100 select Walt Disney World Resort restaurants, while the Disney Quick-Service Dining Plan (available for packages that include a stay at Disney Value Resorts) includes meals and snacks at more than 50 dining locations. For current offers, click here.
This is the plan we get when we stay at WDW and it is a lot of food. Many left-overs have been left behind, lol.

The Disney Dining Plan includes one (1) Quick-Service Meal, one(1) Snack and one (1) Table-Service Meal per person, per night of your package stay for everyone in the party ages 3 and over.

The plan also includes one (1) Rapid Fill Resort refillable drink mug per person, that is valid for the length of your stay (eligible for refills at self-service beverage islands at Quick-Service locations at any Disney Resort Hotel).

The mug does not work in the parks so I'd leave it in the room.

One of the new offerings that stands out from the pack…fueled partly by nostalgia,
partly by the great Jeff Garlin's constant yelling and partly by some outstanding writing.”

Hollywood Reporter, Tim Goodman

Disclaimer: I was given a complimentary copy of the Season 1 DVD of The Goldberg's  In no way are any of the opinions expressed here influenced at any time by anyone. All opinions are my own and true.

I loved reviewing this DVD. It was so much fun watching it again. The Goldberg's tv show, is a favorite of mine and my whole family. We have been watching it from the beginning and really enjoying the 80's humor, clothes, hair and music. If you are familiar with the 80's, a time of great movies (Goonies, Back to the Future and E.T.) you know that that's only the beginning of a great decade of memories. The 80's music (Journey and REO Speedwagon) also has many classics that will live on forever. All of this is now relived in this show. I think that is what's so interesting about this show, is it brings us 40 something parents right back to our TEEN years.

Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day #Hysterical Trailer

In theaters Oct. 10, 2014,

This clip is so funny, if you are a parent you know all about those bad days. Laughter is the only way to keep your sanity and this movie looks hysterical. Enjoy!

Disney’s “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day” follows the exploits of 11-year-old Alexander (Ed Oxenbould) as he experiences the most terrible and horrible day of his young life—a day that begins with gum stuck in his hair, followed by one calamity after another. But when Alexander tells his upbeat family about the misadventures of his disastrous day, he finds little sympathy and begins to wonder if bad things only happen to him. He soon learns that he’s not alone when his mom (Jennifer Garner), dad (Steve Carell), brother (Dylan Minnette) and sister (Kerris Dorsey) all find themselves living through their own terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day. Anyone who says there is no such thing as a bad day just hasn't had one.

Disney History - A Look Back at What Made "1944" Walt's Year

The year 1944 is rich in Disney History for many reasons. Not only because it saw a lot of triumphs for Walt Disney but, it happened while the world was going through a war.
Even during World War II many people were still flocking to movie theaters, to try and keep some normalcy in their lives and Hollywood benefited greatly from this.

Even Walt Disney to his surprise had an unexpected thing happen in 1944. At this time Walt’s studio was financially strapped, centering mostly on government work (animation produced for military services) and he was unable to produce much for the movie houses. At the same time, he soon learned that Universal Studios was re-releasing some of his films. So he decided to also re-release Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. He would personally attended the premiere in Cincinnati. Walt proving his instincts were right, Snow White would become a smashing success again seven years after its first release. This gave Walt the validated that his first animated feature was acclaimed as a Masterpiece again. And this time Snow White had sold more tickets than other new films released currently. His brother, Roy Disney was quoted as saying ”Snow White really seems hot“.

The income from the second release was a welcome relief to the depleted Disney funds. The re-release of Snow White had proven two things: One that Walt’s films were timeless because, there was nothing in Snow White to make it dated. You couldn’t tell if it was 1944 or any other year. Also, when it was released again in 1944 it proved it could make a profit even during wartime. Secondly, it reminded audiences and Hollywood what a great filmmaker Walt was especially before the war started. His fairytale not only reminded audiences but, him too about the appreciation for what he had created the first time around.

Like all Americans, he too longed for peacetime and a return to normalcy and what better way than to go to the movies.

Also in 1944, Walt and his team of filmmakers were innovators trying new and surprising ways to combine the antics of Donald Duck with Live Action. Shooting this footage would combine the zesty culture and music of Brazil and Mexico along with the animated backgrounds, effects and characters. Walt had achieved a beautiful representation of the countries. He incorporated the color and spirit of good neighbor countries to inspire a new dimension in Disney Animation.

Hope you enjoyed this look back into Disney History.....

Thanks and Enjoy!  =)
