"We always try to bring the magic of Disney to our members." ~ said Jeffrey.
One of the most recent announcements was the 2014 Fanniversary tour which will hit 11 cities around the U.S. This is such a special event because a lot of Disney history is covered. The revisit to beloved theme park attractions, animated and live-action films, characters, TV series, and more than 90 years of Disney history including Donald Duck, the 1964–65 New York World’s Fair, Sleeping Beauty, Haunted Mansion, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, The Little Mermaid, and many more. The event, which runs approximately 105 minutes, will also feature the never-before-heard track “Evil Evil” from Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection Sleeping Beauty and a demo recording from Walt Disney Records The Legacy Collection The Little Mermaid. Fanniversary events are open to the public, with special admission prices for D23 Members.
And what makes this tour so special are the rare items from Walt Disney Archives that we get to see and this year a hat worn by Julie Andrews in Mary Poppins and a “Duckster” award.
I'm so excited to be going to the 3rd Fanniversary at Walt Disney World. This is my 3rd year attending and it just keeps getting better and better. I love seeing my fellow D23 members. There is always more stuff for Disney fans to enjoy and see every year. I love the movie clips and the items that we get to see from the Disney Achieves, I mean this stuff has never been seen before outside the archives and that's very special.
For every Disney Fan the Fanniversary is so amazing. It's like a very personal way for us to get close to our favorite movies, characters and all things Disney that we have always wanted to know more about. If you have never been, it truly is a must do Disney experience. Every fan leaves saying "wow" and we all want more. The pictures, movie clips and never see before Disney stuff is breath taking. Thanks for joining me today! I will have a full report after the Orlando Fanniversary.
