What Will You Make Delicious with Some #Reese'sSpreads - Review

Today, I am reviewing a new product called Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread. It's where
chocolate and butter peanut flavors come together in one jar of spreadable goodness. One thing I loved was the smooth consistency, very easy to spread. It was also   very creamy and gooey, definitely a hit with the kids. I dipped some of my treats right into the jar, LOL. When we were sitting around the table I put it into a bowl and put the snack foods around it on a large plate. This peanut butter/chocolate spread can pretty much go on anything and make it delicious.

And no I'm not a fan of peanut butter candy but, I do like peanut butter so it was interesting to see how I would like the tastes. We loved all the food combo's I made, the banana slices covered with the Reese's Spread was their favorite. I made a plate of goodies to share which included pretzels sticks and apples slices which immediately they just dunked into the jar. I also served grapes, chocolate covered strawberries with the Reese's peanut chocolate spread and they were less liked but still disappeared. All in all the Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Spread was a BIG HIT and we will be buying more.

I loved that it paired with so many snacks that everyone has around the house. The pretzels were the best combo, loved the sweet and salty taste.  It was a nice crispy combo with the pita chips and for the fruit it was a sweet treat that added great flavor to grapes, pears, strawberries and apples.  You can also try banana chips, vanilla wafers and yes even bacon, although I have not tried these myself. Give breakfast a flavor boost by topping your waffles with it too.

I have included a recipe from Reese's that combines my love of brownies and Reese's spread.

Reese's Peanut Butter Chocolate Cake Brownies
  • 1-1/4 cups (13-oz. jar) REESE'S Spreads Peanut Butter Chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2/3 cup all-purpose flour
  • Powdered sugar (optional)
  1.  Heat oven to 350°F. Line 8-inch square baking pan with foil, extending foil beyond edges.
  2.  Beat together peanut butter spread, eggs, water and salt until thoroughly blended. Add flour, beating until well blended. Spread batter in prepared pan.
  3.  Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are set. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Lift from pan using foil. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired. Cut into bars. Makes 16 bars.

Disclosure : I was given a free sample of this product from Influenster. In no way did that influence my opinions or this review. Thank you! & Enjoy =)

Review & Giveaway: #Orlando Dunkin' Donuts Welcomes 2015 with Two New Bakery Items

In honor of National Croissant Day on January 30 and as a way to start the year off on a sweet & savory note, Dunkin’ Donuts has debuted the Chocolate Croissant and Tomato Mozzarella Supreme Bagel in Orlando. The new flaky, chocolaty and warm Chocolate Croissant at Dunkin’ Donuts is the perfect pastry for a sweet tooth, while melted mozzarella cheese, tomatoes and an herb topping, served warm hit the savory spot with the new Tomato Mozzarella Supreme Bagel. Both new items are now available at participating Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Orlando.

So with Dunkin' Donuts introducing it's 2 new flavors in it's bagel and croissant line I had to try both of them. I recently tried the tasty new Tomato Mozzarella Supreme Bagel and the Chocolate Croissant at my local Dunkin Donuts and loved them.  The Chocolate Croissant has creamy chocolate filling in it with the flaky, buttery croissant. I loved having chocolate in my croissant, the combo is amazing to taste. This was one of my favorites at Dunkin', so yummy and sweet, a real treat you can enjoy all day.

The Tomato, Mozzarella and herbs are a great combo and it has that pizza taste but in a bagel. Both combining together for a different kinda of flavor. I would probably eat this for lunch and/or a late afternoon snack. It was soft and chewy with plenty of melted cheese on it. Mine was served warmed as that made some the flavors explode and the cheese was warm. Very yummy too!

I also enjoyed a hot cup of 100% Colombian Coffee with a splash of milk to wash it all down. I love the bold flavor of this coffee and it goes great with a chocolate croissant and any of their donuts too. I also ordered their new Croissant Donut and it was the bomb. I love the flakiness of croissant and the taste of donut. It was very big donut - lots of layers. Taller than you average donut and it was a favorite with my kids too.

Exclusively available in Orlando, Dunkin’ Donuts Colombian Coffee, a medium roast with a full-bodied flavor and sweet finish is now available to coffee drinkers. Dunkin’ Donuts’ Colombian coffee is registered by the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia, which ensures the coffee is produced to the highest standards. Their Colombian Packaged Coffee is also the brand’s first packaged coffee with the Rainforest Alliance Certified™ seal, made with 30% coffee beans sourced from Rainforest Alliance Certified farms.

My Most Popular #Vine of the Rock N Roller Coaster

Have You Ridden It?

One of my Favorite rides is at Hollywood Studios, it's the Rock N' Roller Coaster. I love to ride it over and over. The takeoff part from 0-60 in 2 seconds use to scare me, but I got over that pretty quick. That takeoff with Steven Tyler's countdown is one of the most exciting parts. You know it, your sitting in your super-stretch limo and it goes back wards slightly and locks into place. It almost feels like it hit another car behind you and then the flashy sign above says FACE FORWARD. 3-2-1

I was there recently and the crown wasn't to bad so I was able to shot this Vine as you enter the alley. A most awesome take off! If you have watched it from the cue the limo seems to disappear after take off. You see the flashes of lights and then nothing it's gone!

Thanks for stopping by and Enjoy!

What's your favorite ride at Hollywood Studios?

#STRANGEMAGIC - In Theatres Everywhere + Fun Facts about the Movie

 Fun Facts
NAME THAT TUNE – “Strange Magic” weaves together new versions of favorite songs from the last six decades—including songs made famous by artists ranging from Mickey & Sylvia and Elvis Presley to Kelly Clarkson, Beyoncé and Lady Gaga.

HE LOVES ME, HE LOVES ME NOT – Filmmakers needed to concoct a magical love potion for the film, so when they discovered that primroses grow where shadow meets the light (part light/part shade)—they knew they had their chief ingredient for Sugar Plum Fairy’s love potion. In the movie, primroses aptly grow on the border of the Fairy Kingdom and the Dark Forest. In an effort to do away with love forever, the ruler of the Dark Forest, Bog King, orders every primrose destroyed.

FLY AWAY – Artists referenced monarch and blue morpho butterflies to create the look of fairies like Marianne, Dawn and Roland. Animation was customized for each fairy and designed to reflect individual personalities and where they were in their character arc. Marianne, for example, goes from clumsy to athletic during the course of the film.

Strawberry "Frozen" Yogurt

Prep Time Overnight Cook Time 1-2 hours freezing time

Frozen yogurt is one of those treats that everyone loves to eat, but think they need specialized equipment to make. But with this simple recipe you can make delicious, creamy frozen yogurt at home—without an ice cream maker.
The secret is removing as much water from the yogurt as possible. Water freezes solid, but the milk proteins and lipids freeze into the creamy confection that we all know and love. Once you perfect the technique of straining yogurt, you can use it to make any flavor you can come up with!

#StrangeMagic - Family Fun Recipes

With STRANGE MAGIC opening in theatres next Friday, January 23rd, I wanted to send around some fun SWEET, DESSERT, CHOCOLATEY recipes based on the upcoming movie - Plus make your own Magic Fairy Jar! But First here's a little about the movie and a video clip too.

“Strange Magic,” a new animated film from Lucasfilm Ltd., is a madcap fairy tale musical inspired by “A Midsummer Night's Dream.”

Popular songs from the past six decades help tell the tale of a colorful cast of goblins, elves, fairies and imps, and their hilarious misadventures sparked by the battle over a powerful potion.

Lucasfilm Animation Singapore and Industrial Light & Magic bring to life the fanciful forest turned upside down with world-class animation and visual effects. Directed by Gary Rydstrom (“Toy Story Toons: Hawaiian Vacation,” “Lifted”) from a story by George Lucas, “Strange Magic” will be released by Touchstone Pictures.

Villains and Outlaws Make Their Way To #DisneyInfinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition)

Disney Interactive and Marvel Entertainment announced that fans of Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) will be able to walk on the wild side as three of Marvel’s biggest bad guys join the game.  Spider-Man’s arch-nemesis the Green Goblin and Guardians of the Galaxy rabble-rousers Ronan and Yondu join all of the previously announced Marvel and Disney characters in the popular video game franchise.

These 3 villains are some of my favorites but I might have to go with Green Goblin for having the most awesome power move with the Pumpkin Bomb. Ronan is great too with his cloaking ability so cool. And Yondu's Barrage in Blue - that dart of his coming out, look out and his Ravager Rampage spinning swirl of fire, smoke and kicking butt. I will be getting all 3 and kicking it too!

The Little Mermaid Legacy Collection - Review and #Giveaway

I received a copy of The Little Mermaid Legacy Collection CD as a member of the Entertainment New Media Network. No further compensation was received and all opinions are my own.

This is one of my favorite Disney Movie's of all time. I can't believe it's been 25 years since the movie's release. Has it really gone by that fast? I remember showing it to my daughter and her delightful reaction to it. She sang the songs and decided her favorite princess was Ariel. So this movie and the songs have wonderful memories for us. This Legacy Collection of songs is incredible, some of the most recognizable and lovable lyrics of all time. This collection was amazing to hear, it includes two CD's of both the original soundtrack from the movie and on the second disc is the composer - Alan Menken and the lyricist - Howard Ashman performing some of the songs. Also you can hear the treasured memories they experienced while making the soundtrack. I also loved the re-discovery of some of the magic in their words and music. It's a beautiful soundtrack that we found ourselves singing over and over. Those are a few special things that we loved hearing on this Legacy Collection album.

What a treat for the whole family hearing it from their voices, it was a delight. I love that the 2 disc set also includes Alan Menken's look back at the whole process he and Howard went through in the development of the music and lyrics.
Another added bonus is the music sound quality has been improved over the last 2 decades and you can really hear the difference. It's more intense and clear.
Menken said, “The greatest thing about what we do is create something that works in the moment, but also stands the test of time.  For the last 25 years, a generation has grown up with ‘The Little Mermaid’ and it has so greatly influenced them. I hear all the time it’s the soundtrack of so many people’s lives, and that’s a thrilling thing.”

I loved the whole collection of songs; this collection includes 2 discs, plus a 20 page booklet that features newly created artwork inspired by “The Little Mermaid” from Lorelay Bove. The booklet also includes a sampling of visual development art from the film, with notes by Dave Bossert, Producer/Creative Director at Walt Disney Animation Studios. There are so many great bonuses with this collection and that is something I will treasure. It's not just the music but, something to read through and look at as well.

Walt Disney Records’ newly launched site, Disney Music Emporium (DME), is a destination for collectible Disney music products that also features monthly columns by guest writers, a News tab for fun Disney facts, plus videos that exclusively debut on DME including behind-the-scenes of beloved soundtracks.
You can check out all the Disney music at the New Disney Music Emporium Site  HERE

The Contest starts Now and goes until January 14th Midnight EST

Behind The Scenes Look at Into The Woods - From "Stage To Screen"

I loved watching this behind the scenes video and I wanted to share it with you. It was great to see how the movie came together especially after we saw it again. I wanted my whole family to see it. Disney's "Into The Woods" - Movie Review

I loved this movie; probably because, first I love Meryl Streep and second it was a phenomenal ensemble cast joining her. With a great bunch of favorite fairy tale stories and some of the greatest songs, it is a true classic. Bring your whole family, the kids will love it because the story is lighthearted and funny.  At times even a little scary, after all there is a witch in this, but not to worry the musical numbers are mesmerizing.

Johnny Depp is hysterical as the Big Bad Wolf and the young girl who plays Red was so cute and talented. She will steal the show. She's both funny and strong - she has a lot of wittiness to her character. I also loved Jack from the Beanstalk, he was a true hero in this movie, doing his best to save others. He is someone the kids could look up to, he had lots of spirit and adventure was his middle name. The character of Rapunzel was so sweet, I loved her innocence in this story and I was so happy for her at the end of the movie.

Their intertwining stories all combined into this one story, Into The Woods. It was the central story, that revolved around the Baker and his wife and The Witch who puts a evil spell on them and this sets the tone of the movie. They must get a bunch of items in the woods to remove the curse. This entire movie takes place in the dark, dangerous woods. It is also where we meet Cinderella, who turned out to be not the one you would expect and neither is her Prince, though he was funny and charming. Some characters were the ones we know; it was however the wicked stepmother and step sisters we all know and love (or love to hate).

I was amazed and delighted with the musical numbers, I couldn't believe everyone's voice especially, Johnny Depp (The Big Bad Wolf)  and Chris Pine (The Prince). The singing was just beautiful. You won't be able to stop singing "Into The Woods ~ Into the Woods ~ Into the Woods".

Movie Synopsis below ~

INTO THE WOODS is rated PG and is Now Playing!
